The problem
National Day content is everywhere and most of it is the same. I wanted something people could explore and add their own story to.
What I built
- 01An interactive map of all 13 regions drawn with d3-geo.
- 02Community story submissions with rate limiting and moderation.
- 03A 1080×1350 story card rendered in the browser as a real PNG.
What I learned
- Separate campaign language from claims. A date I couldn't verify was cut, even though it would have looked good.
- Three days is enough for something meaningful if the scope is honest.
